Go to the ER if:

• Crushing or squeezing chest pain
• Pain radiating to arm, neck, or jaw
• Chest pain with shortness of breath
• Sudden rapid or irregular heartbeat

Go to the ER if:

• Severe abdominal pain that won't stop
• Vomiting blood or blood in stool
• Rigid or swollen abdomen
• Pain with fever over 101°F

Go to the ER if:

• Head injury with loss of consciousness
• Sudden severe headache (worst of life)
• Confusion, slurred speech, or vision changes
• Seizure in someone without epilepsy

Go to the ER if:

• Can't catch your breath at rest
• Lips or fingertips turning blue
• Wheezing that doesn't respond to inhaler
• Choking or airway obstruction

Go to the ER if:

• Bone visibly deformed or protruding
• Deep wound that won't stop bleeding
• Burns larger than your palm
• Car accident with any pain or dizziness

Go to the ER if:

• Fever over 100.4°F in infant under 3 months
• Difficulty breathing or grunting
• Unresponsive or unusually lethargic
• Severe dehydration (no tears, dry mouth, no wet diapers)

Go to the ER if:

• Throat swelling or difficulty swallowing
• Difficulty breathing after exposure
• Rapid heartbeat with hives
• Dizziness or fainting after allergen contact

Go to the ER if:

• Fever over 103°F that won't respond to medication
• Fever with stiff neck or light sensitivity
• Red streaks spreading from a wound
• Confusion or rapid breathing with fever
